The Constituent Assembly of India had 299 members. These members were responsible for the drafting and passage of the Constitution of India, 1950. They debated and voted on each Article in the Constitution from 9th December, 1946 until 26th January, 1950, when the Constitution came into force.
The members of the Constituent Assembly represented almost all the communities, political parties, and religions present throughout India. This is important because it means the Constitution contains inputs from a diverse group of people. If we can identify the different members of the Assembly, then we can learn more about their histories and about how members of different communities participated in the constitution-building process.
Using the hints provided and the resources available on CADIndia, can you solve the word scramble and identify some of the members of the Constituent Assembly?
