Samvidhaan: The Making of the Constitution of India is a ten-part television mini-series on the Constitution making process of India. The material covers debates, committee meetings and biographies of Jawaharlal Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi. Famous speeches of India's freedom fighters are also a part of the series.

The 10-episode series may not cover the thousands of pages of detailed texts. However, it does a great job of giving an overview of the Constituent Assembly’s intense debates & the challenges the Assembly members had to face. It captures the essence of the Constitution making process by showcasing key moments in the Assembly debates.

The ConstitutionOfIndia.net team has started to link the episodes of Samvidhaan to the database of the original Constituent Assembly Debates on the constituionofindia.net website. 

While browsing through the Constituent Assembly Debates, if you find the option of ‘Watch’ under the ‘Remarks’ section, clicking it will take you to the Samvidhaan rendering (from the Rajya Sabha TV’s YouTube channel) of a part of the debate on that particular date.
