Dear Deshratnaji,
The Constituent Assembly will be meeting once again in a few days and there will be set up various Committees to help in the deliberations and decisions of the Assembly.
Bihar Indian Christians has a special claim on you as you are one of us and know our problems and aspirations. We are one with the Congress in the struggle for independence and we wish to be given an opportunity to help and show our worth. The Bihar Indian Christian Association has again asked me to write to you urging our desire to have me on any of the Committees set up by the Assembly. As a student of Economics, politics and sociology I think I can speak with some authority over questions that are before the country. I hope you will kindly help in putting the representative of our Association on some Committee or other.
We hope that under your wise guidance the Assembly will chalk out a plan for India’s future which will be a model for all freedom loving people.
With best wishes
Yours sincerely
Hony. General Secretary
