The Belagavi Zonal Quiz for the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Constitution Quiz 2024, in collaboration with CLPR’s Constitutionofindia.net team as the Knowledge partner, was organised for Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society (KREIS) school students. The event took place at Kittur Rani Chennamma Residential School in Bailahongala, Belagavi, on 17th February 2024.
Gathering participants from Bagalkote, Belagavi, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Vijayapura, and Uttara Kannada, the event brought forth finalists from each district. These schools secured their positions through a previously conducted online round.
Winners:
- First Place: Morarji Desai Residential School, Benakankoppa, Naragund, Gadag
- Second Place: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Residential School, Kulageri, Bagalkote
- Third Place: Morarji Desai Residential School, Hosur, Belagavi
The audience, comprising around 100 students from 8th to 10th grades at Kittur Rani Chennamma Residential School, added to the competitive spirit of the quiz.
Looking ahead:
The top two schools from this zone will now advance to the Grand Finale in Bengaluru.
The event not only tested the participants’ understanding of the Constitution but also fostered a healthy spirit of competition among the districts.
