The question is: “That in amendment No. 20 of List I (Seventh Week), in sub-paragraph (2) of paragraph (6) of the proposed Fifth Schedule.(a) for the words “such order may” the words “such law may” be substituted;(b) for the words “to the President” the words “to the Parliament” be substituted; and(c) the words “but save as aforesaid, the order made under sub-paragraph (1) of this paragraph shall not be varied by any subsequent order” be deleted.” . The amendment was negatived.
