Mr. President, Sir, I beg to move:
“That in amendment No. 220 of List VII (Second Week), in clause (1) of the proposed new article 235A, for the words ‘may until Parliament by law otherwise provides’ , continue to maintain the said force after such commencement subject to such general or special orders as the President may from time to time issue in this behalf’ the word ‘shall merge into the armed forces of the Union and shall form part of the forces of the Union, be substituted.”
