CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY
A 389-member body responsible for drafting India’s Constitution.

COMMITTEES
Committees were created by the Constituent Assembly comprising smaller groups of members delegated with various responsibilities.

CONGRESS ASSEMBLY PARTY
An unofficial forum consisting of Assembly members belonging to the Indian National Congress that met on the side-lines of the Assembly.

WHEREAS His Highness the Maharaja has been pleased, under a Proclamation issued on the twenty-seventh day of October 1923, to ordain that the Mysore Representative Assembly shall be placed on a statutory basis; and

WHEREAS it is expedient to frame a regulation to give effect to this as well as to define the composition, powers and functions of the said Representative Assembly;
