CAP 27.4

Copy Forwarded to President Indian Parliament for perusal and necessary action. The suggestions in brief are;,-

  1. A collection with a name and style of The Price Of India’s Freedom may be made from all the inhabitants of IIIndia, Hindues, Muslmans, Sikhs, Parsies and Christians and may be distributed among the refugees against their registered proprty claim forms By this financial help the refugees can absorb themselves fully in the business of their own choice and thereby The Govt, can close the whole Ministry of R.&R. and advancement of loans to the refugees. At present The Govt, runs a number of Camps and offices for the refugees to carry on their work, but if this is done, the whole work can be stopped. This collection also can be made most easily as [unclear] ere this even in hope of the coming Freedom M/s Brila and others were paying huge sums and blank cheques and when the Freedom is really before us all in a naked shape and form, I am sure none would refuse to pay adequetly, ofcourse according to his status and income as The Price Of India’s Freedom.
  2. Absirption of all old congress workers in some or the other employment through a seprate Rehabilitation Bureau. It is a fact that many a people did not accept the Government jobs in the days of the Britishers due to their national ideas and proprt[unclear] worth millions of rupees was frozen by the xxxxx then Govt, on account of their taking part in the National Movements.
