Independent audits shall be organised, under the control and supervision of the Auditors-General of the Federation and various Units, to examine the accounts of income and expenditure of each and every agency of the Government concerned including those of economic enterprises with which the Government of the Federation or the Unit is connected. The audit shall include the examination of the expenditure of the endowments, foundations and other institutions administered by an agency of the Government.
