Mr. Vice-President, Sir, I beg to move:
“That in clause (2) of article 10, after the word ‘birth’ the words `or residence be inserted.” Thereafter the clause will read as follows:–
“No citizen shall, on grounds only of religion, race, caste, sex, descent, place of birth or residence, or any of them, be ineligible for any office under the State.”
