Mr. President. I beg to move the following amendments to clause 11.
“(1) That in clause 11 after the word ‘referred’, the words ‘or assigned’; be inserted.
(2) That at the end of clause 11 the following be added: ‘by the President or are assigned to him under this Act or by any Federal Law, to exercise the powers and discharge the duties vested in him under this Act or under any Federal Law and in the performance of his duties he shall have right of audience in all courts in the Union of India. The Advocate-General shall hold office during the pleasure of the President and shall receive such I remuneration as the President may determine’.”
