Mr. Santhanam’s amendment is as follows: “That in sub-clause (2) of Clause 2 for the words ‘to be tried by the Upper House of the Federal Parliament’ the words ‘to be confirmed by the Upper House of the Federal Parliament after investigation by a special Commission of that House be substituted.”
