A 389-member body responsible for drafting India’s Constitution.

An unofficial forum consisting of Assembly members belonging to the Indian National Congress that met on the side-lines of the Assembly.

“That for sub-clauses (c) and (d) of clause (1) of article 90, the following sub-clauses be substituted :

‘(c) the custody of the Consolidated Fund or the Contingency Fund of India, the payment of moneys into or the withdrawal of moneys from any such fund;

(d) the appropriation of moneys out of the Consolidated Fund of India;’“
