A 389-member body responsible for drafting India’s Constitution.

An unofficial forum consisting of Assembly members belonging to the Indian National Congress that met on the side-lines of the Assembly.

The question is :”That in amendment No. 3493 of the List of Amendments (Volume II), for the proposed new sub-paragraph (7-A) of paragraph 2, the following be substituted:– ‘The functions of the Governor under sub-paragraph 7 shall be exercised by him as the agent of the President.'”(The amendment was negatived.)
