Sir, I submit that these amendments are of a drafting nature and I draw the attention of the Drafting Committee to the changes suggested. In paragraph 2 I think the better words to be “shall extend” because this is the manner in which it is expressed in paragraph 3 of the original amendment. There it is said “the executive power of the Union shall extend”. In paragraph 2 in question the wording is that, “the executive power of the State extends”. Instead of the word “extends” it should be “shall extend.” .” (Amendments Nos. 156 and 157 were not moved.)
