Mr. President, Sir, I will first deal with the amendments moved by my Friend Mr. Kamath. I am very sorry that I am not able to accept any of his amendments. As regards the first amendment, the words “authorized and requested” have been appropriately. used, firstly because the word “do” is mandatory and with reference to our President I do not think it appropriate to use a word like that, and secondly because the word “authorized” has been used after considerable deliberation. I would have been extremely glad if the translation had been placed before this House and accepted as an authorized version of the Constitution. But as things were, it was not possible to do so.
