The constitutional powers of the Rulers of States are hereditary in direct descendants, natural and legitimate, and the order of succession shall be determined. by the customary law of the State concerned; unless a Federal Law passed at the request of two-thirds majority of Members of the Legislature of the State concerned determines otherwise either with respect to succession or continuance of the Monarchy.
