23. Members of either Chamber shall be entitled to receive such allowances as may from time to time be determined by the Government and, until provision in that respect is so made, allowances at such rates and upon such conditions as were immediately before the date of the passing of this Act applicable in the case of members of the Representative Assembly or the Legislative Council constituted under the Mysore Representative Assembly Act, 1923, and the Mysore Legislative Council Act, 1923, respectively.
