Mr. Vice-President,Sir, I beg to move-
“That for article 40, the following be substituted:-“40. The Federal Republican Secular State in India shall be pledged to maintain international peace and security and shall to that end adopt every means to promote amicable relations among nations. In particular the State in India shall endeavour to secure the fullest respect for international law and agreement between States and to maintain justice, respect for treaty rights and obligation sin regard to dealings of organised peoples amongst themselves.”
